TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR BOOKING COURSES

GESTALT COACH TRAINING

This page (together with the documents referred to on it) sets out the terms and conditions under which GCT provide the Courses (“Course”) listed on the Website www.gestalt.uk (“the Website”). Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking any Courses from the Website. An Applicant for a Course (“Applicant”/ “You”) should understand that by booking any of the Courses, You agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

You should print a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference.

Please understand that if you refuse to accept these terms and conditions, You will not be able to book any Courses from the Website.

 

1. Information about GCT

The Courses are supplied by Gestalt Coaching & Training Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company registration number 04388561 (“GCT”).

2. Bookings

An Applicant seeking to secure a place on a Course does so by completing the Booking Form on the Website.

When booking a place on a Course, the Applicant agrees to these following terms and conditions. 

Applicants should not consider their booking as definite until an automated notification from GCT has been received. Prices for Courses are subject to change and any changes shall be advertised on the Website.

3. Payment Terms

All payments must be made in advance of the start of the Course.  We accept online payments from all major credit cards via the payment processor ThriveCart. Applicants can also pay by bank transfer, please contact us on support@gestalt.uk for bank details.  GCT offers payment plans for certain Courses.  Where a payment plan is available, this will be communicated via the Website.  

4. Transfers

At our discretion, an Applicant may be able to transfer their booking to another Course subject to availability and payment of any difference in the fees due. Where we agree to the transfer and the fee for the new booking is less than the fee for the original booking, we will refund you the difference less an administration charge of £50.00. Where an Applicant seeks to transfer two weeks before the start of a Course, the Applicant would be charged 50% of the Course fees. Our standard cancellation terms (see below) will apply to the new booking. Please note that we can only transfer a booking to a Course within the same calendar year, and that once a booking is transferred we are unable to offer further transfers.

5. Cancellation by Applicant

Applicants may cancel their booking on a Course and have fees paid returned.  Applicants seeking to cancel their booking, should email their request to 

support@gestalt.uk

The amount of fees returned shall depend on when notice of cancellation is received.   

Cancellations received:                   

a)     more than 60 days in advance of the start of the Course – no fees retained                              

b)     30 to 60 days in advance of the start of the Course -- 25% fees retained

c)     15 to 30 days in advance of the start of the Course -- 50% fees retained                   

d)     14 to 7 days in advance of the start of the Course -- 100% fees retained                

Inability to attend a pre-booked and paid for Course due to unforeseen circumstances constitutes cancellation and the above conditions will apply.  Exceptions will be handled on an individual basis at the discretion of the GCT.                 

 

6.  Cancellation by GCT

GCT reserves the right to cancel Courses as necessary. If a Course has to be cancelled, GCT will make every reasonable effort to reschedule to an alternative date and will automatically move confirmed bookings to the alternative date. GCT will provide the Applicant with as much notice as is possible given the circumstances for the date change. Notice will be given in writing (email or post).

GCT reserves the right to cancel Courses, revise dates, times and fees or substitute facilitators or attending faculty, as necessary.

 

7.  Changes

GCT reserves the right to make changes to the advertised Courses. On rare occasions we may need to cancel a course; in this case we will offer you an alternative course or return all of the fee paid.

 

8. GCT’s 100% Satisfaction Guarantee

If the Applicant is unhappy with the Course and feels that it does not meet the description given on the Website and Applicant notifies the facilitator by end of first day of the Course, a discretionary refund may be given for the Course.  The reasons for dissatisfaction will be noted and if deemed reasonable by GCT, a full refund will be given for the total amount paid for the Course.

9.  Liability

In no circumstances shall GCT’s liability (if any) under these Terms and Conditions exceed the amount paid by the appropriate Applicant.

10. How we use your personal information (Data Protection)

All personal data that We may use will be collected, processed, and held in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Legislation “Data Protection Legislation” (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

For complete details of GCT’s collection, processing, storage, and retention of personal data including, but not limited to, the purpose(s) for which personal data is used, the legal basis or bases for using it, details of Applicant’s rights and how to exercise them, and personal data sharing (where applicable), please refer to our Privacy Policy. 

GCT will not share any of Applicant’s personal data with any third parties for any purposes, subject to any exceptions contained in the Privacy Notice. 

Occasionally, GCT will record coaching demonstrations.  These recordings will only be used by GCT for training purposes only with the relevant training group for the participants of a GCT course that have agreed to confidentiality.  The recordings shall not be accessible to any other group outside the GCT course participants and destroyed once they are no longer required.  

General

11. Comments and Complaints

While GCT make every effort to maintain high standards and provide high-quality experiences for all Applicants, at the end of every Course Applicants will be given the opportunity to provide feedback through our feedback form, but if you feel this is not sufficient, you may wish to make a formal complaint. Note that all complaints should be made in writing, and we ask that you notify us within ten working days of the end of your Course.

12.  Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law.

13.  Changes to terms

GCT reserve the right to change or modify these Terms including for legal, regulatory or security reasons at any time. Whilst we will flag changes on the Website and/or send emails in relation to major changes, it is your responsibility to check the Terms for changes.
